2009 Blue Weimaraner Calendar For full preview, Click on cover below
There is limited availability, get yours now! Update 12/30/08 - It seems that the printer gave me some extra copies! I should only have 3 left but I actually have 9! So some lucky buyers won't miss out after all and rescue in Northern California will get some extra money, EVERYBODY WINS! Update 12/17/08 - I went ahead and ordered an additional 25 copies of the calendar. They should be ready from the printer no later than Monday, December 22nd. Any orders as of that day will be shipped same day. Keep your fingers crossed that all 25 sell! Update 12/5/08 - As of this morning all 100 calendars have sold out. I have started a waiting list and am requesting a 50% deposit in order to add you to the list. Once it looks like I will have enough orders, I will send it to the printer. Once they are ready, you will be able to pay the remaining 50% and I will ship it out ASAP. Update 11/19/08 - All paid orders orders have been shipped including International orders. Update 11/17/08 - I just picked up the calendars from the printer and am ready to start shipping. For those who have already purchased your calendar, you will probably get an email from PayPal saying that the item has been shipped. Actually, it means I have printed the shipping label. I will be printing labels tomorrow and will start stuffing envelopes tomorrow night. They should go out in the mail on Wednesday. For those who have NOT purchased your calendars, I only have 20 left so if you still want one, you should get your order in ASAP before they are all gone. I may be able to order more if there is demand, but I would need at least an additional 25 orders (plus the 20 currently in stock) to be able to get the same pricing for the original order. Plus, I can’t afford to order and pay for unsold calendars. Update 11/6/08 - The calendar is complete and you can now see a full preview of the calendar by clicking on the cover page above. I will be dropping it off at the printer tomorrow and anticipate that they will be finished by the end of next week. If you haven't bought yours yet, be sure to do it soon as over half of the calendars ordered have already sold. Update 10/19/08 - Thanks to everyone who voted for their favorite photo, a cover photo has been selected. The 2009 Blue Weimaraner Calendar photo is of Fairhaven's Land of Living Sky's "Siegfried". Now that I am back from vacation, I am back at work on the calendar and still hope to have it finished the first week of November at which time it will go to print. Shipping of the pre-ordered calendar's is planned for around Thanksgiving. So far, 36 calendars have been sold! Update 9/30/08 - It’s almost October and I wanted to update you on the progress of the 2009 Blue Weimaraner calendar. First, thanks to everyone who submitted photos for the calendar! Without you, this calendar wouldn’t be possible… or it would, but it would be 12 months of Roxie! I have finally decided on a printer which means I now know which program to use for the calendar creation. I will be able to use the same program as last year and will be able to be as creative as my little mind can get. Many of you filled out the survey about last year’s calendar and what you would like to see this year, THANK YOU! I appreciate all your comments and you have given me some ideas to work on. If you haven’t filled out the survey and would like to, you can still do so by going clicking on the link above. I am currently taking pre-orders for the calendar on my website. I am only ordering 100 calendars so be sure to reserve your copies soon! I am still planning to have them ready for shipping by Thanksgiving or the following Monday. I will be working on calendar preview for the website within the next day or so, so check the website often. I’m having a hard time deciding on the cover photo so it may be up to YOU to vote for your favorite. Keep an eye out for future updates. Remember, all proceeds (after expenses) from this year’s calendar will be split between the two Northern California Weimaraner rescue groups; Northern California Weimaraner Rescue and Save-a-Weimaraner.
5/08 - In keeping with the same theme as 2008, I am currently looking for photos of your Blue in all his/her glory looking beautiful as ever. This could be photos of them standing in your backyard, on the beach or wherever, or they could be action shots of them hunting, retrieving etc... I would like to keep the photos as natural as possible so please no stacked photos. In order to submit your photo, please e-mail it to me at renee@reneeandtate.com. Please send the highest resolution you have. This usually means 300 dpi, but for those (like me) who don't know what that is or where to find it, just try to send a .jpg file that is at least 1 mb or bigger. Sometimes a file as small as 500 kb can also work, so if that's all you have, go a head and send it. I'll see what I can do to work it in. Also, please include the following with
your photo submission: Please understand while I would like to use all of the photos submitted, depending on the response, I may not be able to get them all in. Also, depending on the program I use, I may not be able to get your dog's ENTIRE name in there, but I will try. Deadline for photo submissions - Please have your photos submitted by September 1st. Availability: It will take some time to gather all the photos and create the calendar. It's still very early in the year so there is plenty of time to get it completed before 2009. In fact, I will plan to have it completed by Thanksgiving so that you can order for Christmas gifts. No one seemed to know of one. Since I had recently completed a family calendar as Christmas gifts, I thought that I could easily take on the challenge and create one myself. I am not a business, I'm just a person wanting to create something all blue Weim lovers can enjoy. After submissions from Blue Weim lovers around the world, the very first Blue Weimaraner Calendar has been created! I have sold over 100 copies with over $150 benefiting NCWR.
